Gartner’s Magic Quadrant evaluation is based on its assessment of the vendor’s completeness of vision and ability to execute.

According to the report, authored by Ayal Tirosh and Marc-Antoine Meunier, Gartner recommends that organizations use data masking to protect sensitive data at rest and in transit from insiders’ and outsiders’ attacks. The analysts cite in 2015, continuous data breaches has, once again, demonstrated the growing importance of this technology market.
